A new daily Etymon puzzle goes live at the same time, seven days a week, 365 days a year: 12 noon in the UK, 7am Eastern, 4am Pacific. Weekday puzzles (Monday - Friday) are freely accessible for 24-hours to Free Puzzlers before joining the Etymon puzzle archive. Weekend (Saturday & Sunday) puzzles and full puzzle archive access are available to Paid and Patron Puzzlers. Subscribe at any tier to support the publication.
Free Puzzler
Free Puzzlers receive weekday (Monday - Friday) puzzles delivered to their inbox, with 24-hour online and comment access on each puzzle before it joins the Etymon puzzle archive.
Free Puzzlers can also earn complimentary paid access through the referral programme.
Paid Puzzler

Paid Puzzlers receive a new Etymon puzzle each day (incl. Saturday & Sunday), full access to the Etymon puzzle archive, and unlimited online and comment access.
Patron Puzzler

Help support Etymon’s free weekday puzzles.
Patron Puzzlers receive everything paid subscribers do, plus lifetime named recognition in Etymon’s published Patrons’ Roll. Each Patron is numbered in the order of joining, Patron Puzzler #1, #2, and so on. Patron Puzzlers can choose their own name, a pseudonym, or no name at all.
And in the long-standing tradition of priceless British quiz swag, receive an annual Etymon Patron Puzzler coffee mug.
Gift subscriptions
Paid and Patron Puzzlers can send gift subscriptions directly at any time.
Group subscriptions
Groups of five or more subscribers receive a 10% discount on annual subscriptions.
Subscription management
Subscriptions can be managed through your account at any time. Cancelled subscriptions remain active until the end of their current billing period.
